A Face We Have To Love

Babies are not the only ones out there that are adorable. Fiona seemed to enjoy being a model for an hour. With a treat here and there, we could get her to do about anything. If children could be so easily persuaded. 

Mister Big Blue Eye's

Great Grandma, Great Auntie and Mom were all here to help capture Cadam's first year photos. He was absolutely adorable and loved being the center of attention with everyone trying to make him laugh. He had a lot of love going on and enjoyed every moment. 

Family Fun

Julia has been my little model for a few years now.  I just love her. I call her the girl of many (cute) faces; she always has a smile and is ready to have fun.  When raising our children my husband would  say, "put your seatbelts on and get ready for the ride".... Mom and Dad get ready for your ride with these two blue eyed cuties.

 

Busy Family

Wow - 4 children under the age of 4! I have to say I was a little nervous going into this photo shoot, but the children were wonderful. Mom and dad stayed so calm and the children had a blast. By the end of the session the children helped me make mommy and daddy smile for their photos. They were hiding behind me and playing pee-a-boo; so darn cute! At the end of the session, this beautiful family started playing and I was able to capture my most favorite photos of the day; a family just hanging out together, playing and being together. 

Beautiful Baby

Little Sophie is part of Lawson Photography Baby Collection Series. She was in on Friday for her 3 month portrait  session.She has grown so much and is just beautiful, like her mommy! 

Her mom loves cows, so we have incorporated a cow theme through-out her first two sessions. We thought with Halloween around the corner that it would be fun to find Sophie among all her cow friends.   

Dream Wedding

As a photographer I always feel privileged to be a part of a wedding. We are given a gift to be on the inside of one of the most important days of our clients life.  As the week moves towards the weekend of a wedding I get all excited. Recently I had the privilege to photograph such a great couple. They were game to any suggestions that we had for the bride and groom portrait session. The photos show how much fun Lara and Jason had during the portrait session. Their love is contagious.

The Palate Pleasers Catering  did yet another amazing job creating the vision of their client and serving the best food in Annapolis.   Romance of Flowers brought the tent and tables alive with beauty & sophistication.

My first blog

I'm a little slow in getting started on the blog scene. I'm excited to share all of the great and exciting projects that Lawson Photography is working on. This is the season for thinking of holiday gifts and what could be more wonderful than a family photo. The weather is beautiful, falls leaves are just around the corner. I love photographing families and capturing this moment in time, your family will never be in that moment again.
